William 'Bill' Christensen February 8, 1955 - December 27, 2012

William "Bill" Christensen, age 57, of Faribault, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 27, 2012 while working in Cannon Falls.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister from Divine Mercy Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

William Raymond, the son of Alfred and Alice (Rocheleau) Christensen, was born on February 8, 1955 in Faribault, Minnesota. After attending the Faribault High School, Bill began working at the Jeannie-O Turkey Store in Faribault. He later started working with Healy Construction in Faribault as a brick layer and was currently still part of their crew. Although Bill was a workaholic, he loved listening to music from the 50''s and 60''s, he enjoyed playing cards and pool and also going to the casino.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather; his siblings, Al Jr. (Mary) Christensen of Farmington, Norman Christensen, Ann Thorsen, Charles Christensen and Richard "Dick" Christensen, all of Faribault and Carol (Mark) Lowater of Wisconsin and by many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Wayne Christensen in 2009.
