Virginia A. Miller February 15, 1936 - February 9, 2014

Virginia A. Miller, age 77, of Faribault, died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Abbott- Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault in the spring.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Virginia Anne Felix, the daughter of William and Della (Piper) Felix, was born on February 15, 1936 in Faribault, MN. She attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1955. On July 5, 1958 she was united in marriage to Aloysius Miller at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. After their marriage Virginia worked at various places. For 20 years though she worked for the State of Minnesota at the Faribault Regional Center until her retirement in 1998. In retirement Virginia worked as a greeter for Wal-Mart for 11 years. Virginia enjoyed gardening and reading books, especially books about history.

She is survived by her five children, Liselotte Poss of Hammond, WI, Joseph Miller of Vernon Center, MN, Cecilia Kessler of Lakeville, MN, Michele Wolters of Randall, MN and Allen Miller of Faribault, MN; by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; by her brother William Felix of Morristown, MN; by her sister, Frances George of Idabell, OK and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dennis and Eugene Felix and by her former husband, Aloysius Miller.
