Virgil B Fulton

Virgil B. Fulton August 20, 1930 - December 29, 2012

On Saturday, December 29, 2012, Virgil Fulton, age 82 left his earthly body to join in heaven his mother, father, three brothers, one sister, and his 1st wife, Marvel.

He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Mary Ann who he married in 1984. He also leaves behind two sons, Kevin (Andrea) Fulton of Elk Grove, CA, and Jim (Laura) Duckett of Port Edwards, WI; three daughters, Diana Fulton of Eagan, MN, Holly Duckett of Arlington, WI, and Cindy (Corey) Wagner of Faribault, MN. He will be busy watching over his four grandsons and two granddaughters.

Virgil was born in Waterloo, Iowa on August 20, 1930 to Bland and Zena (Deganar) Fulton. He worked for Northwestern Bell for 33 years in both Iowa and Minnesota. He also worked at Maple Lawn Cemetery as caretaker. Virgil enjoyed many hobbies and activities including: camping, fishing, restoring cars, traveling, music, talking on the phone, and cookies.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault, with Pastor Garry Rosenau, of Faribault Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in Brandon, Iowa.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to St. Lucas Care Center Sheltering Arms or Alzheimer''s research in memory of Virgil.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
