VERLEE MAE HEBERLEE, age 88 of Waterville, died on December 31, 2018 in San Marcos, Texas.
Born in Keosaqua, Iowa on December 24, 1930, Verlee was the daughter of John Wesley and Eva Dell (Rudolph) Jones.  She graduated from Libertyville High School before marrying Calvin Theodore Heberlee on October 11, 1952.  She worked for Herters in Waseca for 30 years, and later at the E.F. Johnson Company in Waseca, and as a school bus driver for Waterville public schools.  Verlee was a member of the United Methodist Church in Waterville, and she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting, crafts, gardening, and going for walks.
Verlee is survived by six children, Rita Atherton of San Marcos, TX, Tresa (Kenny) Trant of Seguin, TX, Debbie (John) Peters of Maricopa, AZ, Calvin "Butch" (Carol) Heberlee of Navarre, FL, Sharon Wilber of Ankeny, IA, and Peggy (Brad) Frisk of Pillager, MN; twenty-two grandchildren; and fifty-three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; one son, Terry Peacock; one brother, Harold Wesley Jones; and two great-grandsons, Justin Westfall and Isaac Boyer. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waterville, and will continue for one hour on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 10-11AM.  Interment will take place at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.
