Velma I. Mittelstadt, age 99 of Janesville, formerly of Fairmont, died on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Janesville Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held on Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service, at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home in Janesville. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Darwin) Lochner of Janesville, and her son Charles (Beverly) Mittelstadt of Salt Lake City, UT; by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; by her daughter-in-law Jenny Mittelstadt of Valencia, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick J. Mittelstadt on December 3, 1982; by her son John Mittelstadt; by her sisters Theo and Ivanette, and her twin sister Thelma, at infancy; by her brother Raymond.
