Thomas Twitchell January 29, 1945 - April 2, 2009

Thomas N. Twitchell, age 64, of Faribault, died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Abbott- Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault with the Rev. Steven J. Kuehne, pastor officiating. Interment will be held at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Owatonna, MN. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Thomas Norman Twitchell, the son of Caryl and LaVonne (Anhorn) Twitchell, was born on January 29, 1945 in Stillwater, OK. Tom moved to the Faribault Regional Center in 1961 and lived there until 1971 when he moved to the Portland Residence in Minneapolis. Tom lived there for 10 years until moving back to the Regional Center and in 1992 moved to the Shumway Group Home. Tom worked for Cannon River Enterprises for many years. Tom was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and faithfully attended services every week. Tom also participated in Bible Study groups at church. Tom loved music and playing cribbage. He is survived by two brothers, Paul Twitchell of Sioux Falls, SD and Bob (Kathy) Twitchell of Uxbridge, MA; by his nephew, Andy Twitchell and his niece, Alison (Jason) Timlin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
