Thomas Edward Grothe

TOM GROTHE, age 66, of Madsion Lake, Minnesota, died, Saturday, March 11, 2023, at his home.

Born in Mankato, Minnesota, on September 1, 1956, a son of the late Roger Grothe and Joyce (Olsen) Grothe. Tom loved being outdoors and snowmobiling. He was a genuine, good guy, and would always be there to lend a hand to someone in need and will be missed by many.

He is survived by one daughter, Amy Jo Grothe, of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, Kaylynn, Devin and Chance; three great-grandchildren, Laylia, Evalynn, and Ensley; three siblings, Wayne (Susan Casper) Grothe of Madison Lake, Karen (Steve Danielowski) Vogelsang of Osceola, WI, and Shari (Dale) LaCanne of Faribault. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter Erika Lynn Grothe.

In honoring Tom’s wishes he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family to help with funeral expenses.
