Theresa Wolske

THERESA MARIE WOLSKE, age 68 died on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at The Beacon in Lake Crystal.

Born on October 2, 1953 in Mankato, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Dave and JoAnn (Klugherz) Gretz. She graduated from Wilson in Mankato. Theresa married Benjamin Wolske on July 5, 1972 in Manitou Springs, Colorado. They lived in Colorado Springs for several years before returning to Mankato. Theresa was employed at House of Hope her entire career before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by three children, Edward (Shannon) Wolske of Tracy, Heather (Cory) Oachs of Mapleton, and Matthew Wolske of Waseca; nine grandchildren, Hailey, Brooke, Kayla, Isaiah, Gabriel, Joshua, Solomon, Keera, and Eva; and three great grandchildren, Harper, Quinn, and Ezekiel. Theresa is also survived by her siblings, Pam (Terry) Ness of North Mankato, Patrick Gretz of Bonita Springs, FL, Jeff (Kate) Gretz of Mankato, Melissa (Mike) Goodell of Nicollet, and Tina Gretz of Mankato; sister-in-law, Doris Gretz of Elko and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Mike Gretz.

A celebration of Theresa’s life will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2-5 PM at the Pemberton Community Center.
