Teresa Renee Chesney

TERESA RENEE CHESNEY, age 51 of Pemberton, died unexpectedly at her home on the evening of Monday, November 29, 2021.

Born in Albert Lea on March 1, 1970, Teresa was the daughter of Eli and Hilda “Jean” Perez. She attended school in Janesville. A lifelong resident of southern Minnesota, she worked for Brown Printing in Waseca for a time, and at Itron in Waseca for over 20 years. On September 28, 2019 Teresa married Terry John Chesney in Waseca. She enjoyed playing darts, animals, gardening, canning salsa (that she didn’t eat), and collecting tattoos. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville.

Teresa is survived by her husband Terry of Pemberton; her children, Corey Perez and his girlfriend Kara Sanchez of Tampa, FL, Cameron Perez of Pemberton, Kaleb More and his girlfriend Lexi Bronstad of Janesville, Hunter More of Blooming Prairie, and Cheyenne More and her boyfriend Robert Stocco of Sioux Falls, SD; eight grandchildren; one step-daughter, Tasha (Mike) Williams of Morristown; and her siblings, Mike (Norma) Witter of Janesville, Mark (Christina) Witter of Annandale, John (Melinda) Hanson of Madison Lake, Jennie (Jeremiah) Gardiner of Janesville, and Robert Shifflett and his girlfriend Megan Bronstad of Janesville; and a very close friend, Lori Andersen. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; a son, Bryce More; and a sister, Sandra Witter.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until the time of the service at the church.
