TERESA GERTRUDE OLEARY, age 91 of Waterville died on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
Born on December 17, 1927 in Waterville, Minnesota she was the daughter of Emil and Gertrude (Hurt) Yerhart.  She graduated from Waterville High School and married John OLeary on September 21, 1948 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Waterville.  Teresa worked as a seamstress at various locations over the years.  She also worked with her husband in operating the family resort and volunteered at Potential Unlimited.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, being outside and going for walks, and the yearly family vacations.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the CCW in Waterville as well as the VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by her three children, Colleen OLeary and her husband, Marlo Skurdal of Courtland, Tom OLeary of Waterville, and Paul OLeary of Northfield; five grandchildren, Gwendolyn OLeary, Brian OLeary, Amanda McBride, KariAnna Ulrich, and Eirika Johanna; and six great grandchildren.  She is also survived by one sister, Irene Lynaugh of Mankato; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Yerhart of Keokuk, IA and Bernadine Hildebrant of Waterville; and many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Carroll McBride; five brothers; and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Waterville.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, one hour before services at the church.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterville.
