Suzanne Endres

SUZANNE “SUE” ENDRES, age 69 of Janesville died on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at her home in Janesville.

Born on April 5, 1955 in Brainerd, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Robert and Joanne (Turcotte) Endres. 

Sue was a loving and doting mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Sue led a life that was always centered on her family. She wanted what was best for those she loved and was there for every phone call or message regardless of time of day. Her two daughters, three grandchildren and her beloved pets were her world. She was young at heart and connected with her grandchildren by adopting their passions, from gaming to hosting teenage slumber parties to presidential history. Sue also made huge impacts in her community and school, helping those in need with her big heart and was often the adopted mother of those that really needed love. She kept her family tribe tight but had room to bring her in-laws and extended friends into her circle. An animal lover, Sue always had a dog or two at foot and wanted to share her pets with her grandchildren. A straight shooter, you could always count on her to call it like it was with a wit that always came from a place of love. Always humble and unassuming, Sue’s impact on her family, friends and community was far greater than she ever realized. Her imprint will forever be etched on all she touched.

She is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Nathan) Starke of Madison Lake and Teresa (Chris Dwyer) Schalz of Faribault; and three grandchildren, Oliver, Charlotte, and Theodore Starke. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Donnie and Robert Endres.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 1-3 PM at the Janesville Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Bulldog Backers, Cleveland Dollars for Scholars or Rescue 55021 animal shelter.
