SUSAN RAE ROSENAU, age 64 of Prior Lake, formerly of Waseca died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at her home.
Born on November 30, 1953 in Carroll, Iowa, she was the daughter of Lester and Lorna (Rose) Knute.   Sue graduated from Glidden/Ralston High School in 1972.  She married Paul Rosenau on March 17, 1973 in Glidden, Iowa.   Sue had worked at various places including the University of MN-Waseca, Agriculture Utilization & Research Institute (AURI), Viking Woodcrafts, and Sidney Public Schools in Sidney, NE.  Most recently, Sue was the COO of the Legacy of Angels Foundation.  She had a passion to make a difference for the diagnosis, treatment, and improved outcome for Krabbe Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, and advancement in Newborn Screening.  Sue also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling when time permitted.   She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Lakeville.
She is survived by her husband Paul; children, Brett (Tynisa) Rosenau of New Glarus, WI, Stacy (Josh) Langenfeld of Rosemount, and Heather (Kurt) Techmeier of Muskego, WI; and seven grandchildren, Lauren Rosenau, Jack Langenfeld, Allyson Luken, Ava Luken, Mason Techmeier, Emma Techmeier, and Ashlyn Techmeier.   She is also survived by siblings, Roger (Kris) Knute of Carroll, IA, Diana Krogh of Carroll, IA, and Karla (Mark) Stokes of Ankeny, IA; uncle, Harry Rose of Carroll, IA; aunts, Louise Bruhns of Manning, IA and Gladys Hansen of Audubon, IA; and several nieces and nephews.   Sue was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Makayla Pike; and niece, Jill Knute.
Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 2-6 PM and continue on Sunday, one hour before services at the church.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Messiah Lutheran Church in Lakeville.  Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Apple Valley. Following graveside services, friends are invited to join the Rosenau family at Messiah Lutheran Church for a time of food and fellowship.
