Steven Meyers June 22, 1944 - July 18, 2011

Steven D. Meyers, age 67 of Mankato, died on Monday July 18, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato after a short battle with colon cancer. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 27th at 2:00 p.m. at the Janesville Cemetery. A time of fellowship and visiting will follow at Perkins Restaurant on 169 N. Mankato. McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca is handling arrangements. Steven Dennis was born on June 22, 1944 to Ray Meyers and LaJune Blasing. Steven was a lifelong resident of the Janesville, Elysian, and Mankato Areas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards, especially at the American Legion in Mankato. He also loved visiting with friends, and telling stories and jokes at Perkins and McDonalds, in N. Mankato. He is survived by his two daughters Shari and Kim; by his brother Ronald of Alexandria, and three nephews, Kurt, Kevin, and Kyle and his niece Mykaela; by many cousins ant other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents.
