Shirley B. Hoehn, age 84 of Faribault, MN and formerly of Madison Lake, MN, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield, MN following an extended battle with Alzheimer''s disease. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake, MN with Fr. Robert Schneider, pastor officiating. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Madison Lake. Visitation will be held at the Church on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The family prefers that memorials be directed to All Saints Catholic Church and School or to the donor''s choice in memory of Shirley. Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault. Shirley Belle Heljeson, the daughter of Homer and Isabella (Ballard) Heljeson, was born on December 17, 1927 in Storia, South Dakota. She attended Mankato High School and graduated with the class of 1944. On April 3, 1945 she was united in marriage to Alfred Hoehn at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake, MN. After their marriage, Shirley stayed at home to raise their family. Shirley was an incredible cook and everyone in her family had a favorite meal that she would make. Everything was made from scratch and with love! Shirley also took pride in taking care of her home and keeping it looking immaculate. She enjoyed traveling, arranging flowers, listening to music and spending time with all of her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Alfred Hoehn of Faribault; by three children, James (Patricia) Hoehn of Madison Lake, MN, Myrna Ostermann of Faribault and Bradley Hoehn and Gary Goldberg of Mankato, MN; by seven grandchildren, James Hoehn, Melissa (Scott) Donkers, Matthew Hoehn, Lucas (April) Ostermann, Jessica (Kevin) Guillemette, Megan (Derek) Grimsrud and Sebastian Hoehn; by 11 great grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her granddaughter, Kimberly Hoehn, by two sisters, Joyce Heljeson and Ardyce Johnson, by her brother, Mick Heljeson and by her son-in-law, Everett Ostermann.
