Shirley Ann Tetzloff

SHIRLEY A. TETZLOFF, age 86 of Waseca died on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Foxdale in Waseca.

Born on April 18, 1935 in Otisco, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Jack and Lillian (Ross) Schultz. She attended school in rural Waseca County before graduating from Waseca High School in 1953. Shirley was united in marriage to Robert Tetzloff on August 7, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. As they made their home in Waseca, Shirley was employed for many years as a line supervisor at the E.F. Johnson Co. They later moved to their lake home on Lake Francis in Elysian where she worked part time at Century 21.

Shirley loved lake life and entertaining with pontoon rides and her wonderful baking and cooking. She was especially known for her potato salad and cinnamon rolls – if you left hungry it was your own fault. She enjoyed her Tuesday morning coffee club and Wednesday afternoon card games. Shirley was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca and was active with the American Legion Auxiliary Post 311 in Elysian. She always wanted to be fair to everyone, just a good hearted person.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Ken) DeCramer of Rochester and Sheila Jackson of Owatonna; three grandchildren, Matthew (Katie) Gibart, Kris (Sarah) Gibart, and Katie Reinhart; and six great grandchildren, Carter, Tristan, Jack, Lane, Blake, and Sloane. She is also survived by one sister, Dorothy Tollefson of New Richland; sisters-in-law, Hazel Endersbe of Mora and LaVon Robeck of Janesville; brother-in-law, Dave Tetzloff of Edina; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Jon Jackson; two brothers, Vincent and Ray Schultz; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca. Visitation will be held on Monday, one hour before services at the church. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
