Sharon Kay Killday-Hall, age 70 of Waseca, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at her home. Memorial services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, with Pastor Paige Whitney officiating. The Killday family will greet friends on Monday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Sharon Kay was born on November 9, 1941 to Robert and Olga (Lagerquist) Campbell in Sun City, California. In 1942 her family moved to Lakota, North Dakota. Sharon''s family then moved to Waseca in 1957. She graduated from Waseca Central High School in 1959. On July 2, 1960 she was united in marriage to James K. Killday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Over the years Sharon was employed by the Waseca Veterinary Clinic as an assistant, Donahue Real Estate, Century 21of Waseca as an agent, and for the Waseca County Assessor''s office. She retired in 2004. Sharon enjoyed karaoke, crossword puzzles and watching movies. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends, especially her grandson Joel. She is survived by her son, Timothy (Jill) Killday of Waseca; by her daughters, Valerie Killday (Mila Pires, adopted brazilian daughter of Sharon) of Waseca, and Jamie Killday (Nancy Danielson) of Prior Lake; by her grandson, Joel Killday of Chicago, Ill; by her sisters, Yvonne Schwab of Devils Lake, ND, and Diane Campbell of Owatonna; by her special friend and soul mate James K. Killday of Waseca; by her step-grandchildren, Carrie, Casey and Cayla Mingo all of Waseca, Dennis, Chris and Lynn Danielson all of the Twin Cities; by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; by her brother Howard Campbell; by her brother-in-law Allan Schwab.
