SELMA B. JELLUM, age 97 of Waseca, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.
Born on September 8, 1918 in Waseca County, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Elder and Leha (Hoskin) Kelm.  She attended school in rural Waseca County and married Otto Jellum on November 17, 1937 in Albert Lea.  Together they farmed in Waseca County for many years where Selma helped with milking cows and also raising mink for many years.   She also worked at the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca.  Selma enjoyed crocheting, sewing, embroidery, and baking.  She was a member of North Waseca Lutheran Church and TOPS.
She is survived by one son, Gene (Donna) Jellum of Waterville; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two sisters, Ruby (Don) Olson of Shakopee and Gladys Rice of Kasson; one brother, Kenneth Kelm of Bemidji; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Norman and Lee; one grandson, Wayne; one brother, Donald; and two sisters, Dorothy and Ruth. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM at North Waseca Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow at North Waseca Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, one hour before services at the church.
