Lotty Dee (Cook) Schreier

LOTTY DEE (COOK) SCHREIER , age 55, passed away on February 5, 2014 at Central Health Care in Le Center.

Born in Blue Earth on December 31, 1958, Lotty was the daughter of LeRoy and Norma (Francis) Cook.  She attended school in Albert Lea and New Richland before graduating from Freeborn schools in 1976.  Lotty then served in the Air Force where she served in Iceland and California.  She later continued her service in the Army National Guard.  Lotty enjoyed cats, crocheting, reading, and music.  She was also involved with various resident-run committees at the facilities where she lived.

Lotty is survived by sons, Jason and Billy Whittaker; mother, Norma Cook of Waseca; sisters, Cindy (Roy) Miller of Waseca, Debra (Markus) Vandenbosch of Eagan, and Sherry (Bob) Anderson of Victoria; nephews, Eric (Janna) Miller of Knob Noster, MO, Nathan Miller of Waseca, Josh Vandenbosch of Eagan, and Justin Vandenbosch of Eagan; a great-nephew, Weston Miller; and several step-children and step-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00AM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
