Sandy Purtle

Sandy Lee Purtle, age 79, of Waseca, formerly of Minneapolis, died on October 27, 2018, in Waseca.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Starkson & Steffel Funeral & Cremation Service ~ McRaith Chapel of Waseca. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Sandy Lee Purtle was born on September 7, 1939. She was the daughter of Verna Habiger. Sandy was raised in Minneapolis where she attended school, worked various jobs and raised her family of seven children. She continued to live in Minneapolis until moving to Waseca in 2014, to be near her daughter. Sandy enjoyed her daily routine of coffee and doughnuts on the deck, making jewelry, coloring and watching the Hallmark Channel. She loved taking trips up north with her sisters, Linda and Barb and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by her children: Jim (Michelle) Scott, Kim Scott, Tim (Cindy) Scott, Dawn Fischer, Beth Duke (fianc, James), Melissa Fischer and Tammy Fischer; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: Linda (Jim) Guderian, Sherri Fansen, Howard (Susie) Purtle, David Purtle, and Barb Johnson; many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother and one sister, Wendy.
