Sally Jean Gruber August 18, 1955 - July 22, 2015

Sally Jean Gruber, age 59 of Lowell, MA and formerly of Medford, MN, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Merrimac Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA following an extended illness.

Private family services were held.

The family prefers that any memorials be directed to local American Cancer Society in memory of Sally.

Sally Jean Wallace, the daughter of Earl and Marcella (Simacek) Wallace, was born on August 18, 1955 in Worthington, MN. She attended Medford High School and graduated with the class of 1973. On May 16, 1980 she was united in marriage to Tim Gruber at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Medford, MN. After their marriage they moved to Albuquerque, NM and started their family. In 2000 they moved to the Boston, MA area and Sally worked for the U.S. Treasury Department.

She is survived by her husband Tim of Lowell, MA and by her daughter Sara Jo Gruber of Clinton, MA; by two sisters, four brothers and numerous other family members in the Owatonna, Medford, Waseca and Faribault area.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
