Russell Paschke July 27, 1922 - October 31, 2012

Russell Paschke, age 90, of Faribault, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Heritage House in Faribault following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:05 a.m. in Assembly Area 1.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Russell H. Paschke, the son of Henry and Caroline (Erdmann) Paschke, was born on July 27, 1922 in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Following high school, Russell joined the U.S. Army Air Force on September 16, 1942 and was later granted an honorable discharge on November 20, 1945. Russell later started working at the Paradise Theater and also taught flight lessons at the Faribault Airport for many years.

He is survived by his sister, Nylene Lowe of Cloquet, Minnesota and by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his sisters, Beatrice Whitehouse and Corine Meyer.
