Rosemary Clara Dieteman

Rosemary (Rosie) was born to Fred Albert & Clara Anna (Ullrich) Diel on 12 November 1938 in Vernon Center, MN. She died on 3 December 2018 at the age of 80 in Jacksonville, NC.
Rosie spent her youth in Vernon Center, MN, and graduated from Garden City High School. She married Dennis Richard Nelson on 24 October 1964, whom she later divorced. She married her second husband, Lafell John Dieteman, on 21 October 1972. She worked for Johnson Fishing for 28 years. After celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, Lafell passed away on 10 November 1997.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Emmett John (Dawn Marie) Nelson, and grandson, William Joseph Nelson, of Hermantown, MN; and her daughter, Nicole Marie Dieteman, of Duluth, MN; as well as one sister, Mary Ann Collins, of Jacksonville, NC; and two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Diel & Lois Busse. She is also survived by two step-sons, Scott & Steve Dieteman, and one step-daughter, Allison Schuster; as well as several step-grandchildren & great step-grandchildren and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Fred Alvin & Robert John Diel.
Graveside Service will be held @10am on Saturday, 8 June 2019, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in St. Clair. Sympathy Expressions can be mailed to the family of Emmett Nelson & Nicki Dieteman @4912 Jackson St., Hermantown, MN 55811.
