Robert D. Joyce Jr.

ROBERT D. JOYCE JR., age 49, of Janesville passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 in Waseca County.

Born on November 7, 1973 in Aurora, IL, Robert was the son of Robert and Cheryl (Morris) Joyce. He graduated from Dixon High School. On May 4, 2002, he was united in marriage to Amber Merritt in St. Louis, MO. Robert worked for Mediacom for over the last ten years.

Music was Robert’s passion in life. He loved playing the guitar and singing. He has been involved with a band since his high school days. He also enjoyed nature, especially fishing and hiking. He was a great cook and loved teaching his daughters some of his favorite recipes. He was very funny and enjoyed making others laugh. He will be dearly missed.

Robert is survived by his wife, Amber Joyce; daughters, Autumn Joyce (18), Saige Joyce (10); parents, Robert (Lee) Joyce Sr., Cheryl Joyce; siblings, Dana, Brenden (Mellissa), and Danette.

Private services for Robert are being held at this time. Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service are handling arrangements at this time.
