Robert Donald Kaiser

ROBERT DONALD KAISER, age 79, of Waseca passed away on April 23, 2023 at Foxdale Senior Living in Waseca surrounded by his family.

Born on December 11, 1943 in Waseca, he was the son of Donald and Ethel (Jeddeloh) Kaiser. He graduated from Waseca High School with the class of 1961. Following his education, he worked in construction. He helped build steel buildings and bridges for over twenty years. He later went on to work at Walmart and Owatonna Public Schools as a custodian before retiring due to his health. On October 4, 1969, he was joined in marriage to Judy Stephan at Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca.

In his free time, Robert enjoyed ice fishing, bear, and deer hunting. He enjoyed rooting for every Minnesota sports team, especially the Twins. He loved baseball and was inducted to the Waseca Baseball Hall of Fame. He would often spend time at Canterbury Park to see the horse races. He especially loved spending his time with his grandchildren. Whether it was a concert or a sporting event, he was always there for support. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be very missed.

Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy Kaiser of Waseca; children, Tami (Chris) Beman of Owatonna, Tom Kaiser (Heidi Wiitanen) of Waseca; grandsons, Tylor Beman, Justin Beman, Nathan Kaiser; brother, Mike Kaiser of Waseca; sisters, Judie (Rich) O’Brien of Sioux Falls, SD, Janet (Mitch) Clow of Elbow Lake; sister-in-law, Sheila Kaiser of Waseca; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Kaiser; nephew, Brian Kaiser; and grandson, Brandon Beman.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service in Waseca. A Prayer Service will be at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
