ROBERT “BOB” EDWARD TETZLOFF, age 70 of Waseca died on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at his home.
Born on July 1, 1949 in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Clarence and Ruby (Leslie) Tetzloff. He attended school in Waseca, graduating in 1967. Bob went on to attend Mankato Technical College studying auto body rebuilding. He spent 6 months in the U.S. Navy before receiving a medical discharge. Bob married Barbara Ann Nelson on August 21, 1971 at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca. He worked at Red Owl for a few years before working at the E.F. Johnson Co. Bob then went on to work as a mechanic for the city of Waseca. In his retirement, he drove for Car Quest. Bob liked working with wood, animals, camping and just being outside. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca and the Waseca American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Barb of Waseca; two children, Gina (Brad) Jenson of New Hope and their son, Alexander of New Hope, and James Tetzloff of Waseca and his children, Caitlin Gregory of Neoga, IL, Isaiah Tetzloff of Waseca, Christian Melendrez of Waseca, and Elicia Schellman of Waseca; and two great-grandchildren, Maverick and Everleigh He was preceded in death by his parents and one cousin.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private services are being held for the family. Interment will be in Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
