Richard W. Kofoid, age 45, of Faribault, passed away, Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at his home following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault with the Rev. Robert Snyder officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Richard William the son of William and Sandra (Martin) Kofoid, was born on July 4, 1968 in St. Paul, MN. Richard attended various schools prior to his moving to his current residence with Our Circle Of Friends. Richard worked for over 10 years at Straight River Enterprises in Faribault. He was a member of the Rice County Radio Control Flyers and the One Eight Air Force in Phoenix, AZ.

He is survived by his family and friends at his Our Circle Of Friends home.

He was preceded in death by his aunt Linda Kaup.
