Quinn Danielle Harguth

QUINN DANIELLE HARGUTH, age 28, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Waseca, left this world on April 24, 2025 to be with our Heavenly Father.

Born on May 11, 1996, in Owatonna, she was the daughter of Brian and Holly (Herrick) Harguth. Quinn was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. She grew up on a farm in rural Waseca with her loving parents and sisters. She began her education at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Waseca and graduated from Waseca Public Schools with the class of 2014. Quinn continued her education at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management where she double majored in finance and accounting. Following her education, Quinn was proud to accept her first job with one of the Big Four Accounting firms. Quinn was a big city girl and her career allowed her to live in Minneapolis for a few years before bringing her to Chicago. Throughout her career she was a member of the MN CPA and IL CPA.

Quinn was a talented athlete and singer; she was eclectic, intelligent and beautiful. She could accomplish anything she put her mind to. Quinn enjoyed living the big city life and relishing all it had to offer, including walking around the city, touring, restaurants, and mostly shopping. Quinn’s favorite hobby was traveling anywhere in the world. She valued family time and being with her friends. Quinn will be remembered as an independent, beautiful young woman who will be forever loved.

Quinn is survived by her parents, Brian and Holly Harguth of Waseca; sisters: Heather (Jake) Droessler of New Brighton, Serena (Quentin Tradup) of Rochester, Raquel (Matt Hovey) of Winona, Peyton (Carson Slattery) of Waseca, and Eliza (Brandon Dahnert) of Waseca; nieces: Adeline and Elsie Droessler, and Jacqueline Hovey; nephew, baby boy Tradup arriving any day; grandparents: Bill and Eileen Harguth of Waseca; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandma, Paula (Herrick) MacDougall and grandpa, Dennis Herrick.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Private family burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and will continue until the time of the service at the church on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to NAMI – Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
