PAUL WILLIAM KRAUSE, age 85 of Waseca died on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Colony Court in Waseca.
Born on November 20, 1930 in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Harry and Esther (Minske) Krause.  Paul graduated from Waseca High School in 1949 and married Jeanette Roesler on June 17, 1949.   He was a life-long farmer in Wilton Township where he served on the Town Board and the Tax Association of Waseca.   Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, gun shooting competitions, golf, and travel.  He was also a Vikings season ticket holder and enjoyed attending his grandchildrens sporting events.  Paul was a longtime member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church where he was baptized, confirmed and married, and had served on many church boards.  He was currently a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Paul is survived by special friend, Barbara Friedl of Waseca; children, David (Connie) Krause of Holmen, WI, Jane (Jack) Kolars of Mankato, Nancy Ristau of Waseca, and Wayne Krause of Owatonna; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.  He is also survived by one brother, Richard (Clarice) Krause of Waseca and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeannette; son, Thomas Paul; and great grandchild, Stanley Wagner. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the church.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
