PAUL STEVEN WHITE, age 69 of Waseca died on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Born on April 14, 1947 in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of George and Marjorie (Schwanke) White.  He attended school in Wells and Waseca and went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1967 until his discharge in 1968 having received the Purple Heart, National Defense and Viet-Nam Service medals.  Paul married Marsha Collins on June 27, 1969 in Faribault.  He worked at the E.F. Johnson Co. and Corchrans in Waseca, Modern Metals in Owatonna and also for the railroad.  He then attended Faribault Vo-Tech to become a draftsman and was employed with Cannon Equipment in Cannon Falls.  Paul later worked at Fessels in Waterville and lastly in maintenance for Colony Court.  Paul enjoyed woodworking and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca.   He was an active member of VFW Post 1642 in Waseca where he served as past commander, on the drill squad and on the funeral honor guard.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha of Waseca; three sons, Gary White of Des Moines, IA, Brian (Becky) White of Janesville, and James (Shalee) White of Waseca; and eight grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother and sister.
Visitation will be held at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 4-7 PM and continue on Saturday, one hour before services at the church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca with Rev. Victor Waters officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
