PATRICK RICHARD “PAT” LANDRUM, age 72 of North Mankato, passed away on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 23, 1950, Pat was the son of Wilbert Melvin and Marlene “Marti” Frances (Stransky) Landrum. He attended school at St. Peter and Paul in Mankato before graduating from Waterville High School with the class of 1969. Pat was married to Sherry Williams on September 13, 1997 in Blue Earth County, but previously had important relationships with Kathleen Meister and Kimberly DeVlaeminck. He worked various jobs over the years, but recently had been a supervisor at Lindsay Windows and was always known to be a man his crew could rely on. Pat enjoyed playing golf, singing karaoke, bowling, completing home improvement projects, birdwatching, cooking, and bible study. He was a mechanically minded man that could fix most any machine he could tinker with. He was a long-time member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Elysian, and worked hard to support the many people, animals, and causes he cared about.
Pat is survived by his wife, Sherry of North Mankato; children Lynette (James) Arkema of Iowa City, IA, Laura (Brandon) Lindsay of Good Thunder, Rachelle Rice (Trevor Nilson) of Lake Crystal, Sarah (Stephen) Robertson of Medford, OR, Ashley (Nick) Johannes of Mankato, Jason Landrum of Mankato, Kellie (Derek) Gorny of St. Clair, and Angela Jeffries-Sherwood (Dominic Evans) of North Mankato; eighteen grandchildren with one more on the way; and siblings, Anita (Jerry) Frank of Hutchinson, Michael (Kay) Landrum of Owatonna, Evonne (Brian) Traxler of LeCenter, George (Deborah) Rezac of Forest Lake, and Jerome (Carolina) Rezac of Mesa, AZ; as well as numerous nieces; nephews; and their families. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Elysian, with Father John Powers officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Elysian.
