Patricia (Pat) Newcombe Kanzenbach February 28, 1946 - April 19, 2016

I was born to Robert Daniel & Betty Joy (Pautz) Newcombe on February 28th, 1946 at St. Lucas Deaconess Hospital in Faribault, MN. I graduated June 4th, 1964 from Faribault High School. I married LaVerne (Ernie) Kanzenbach on August 4th, 1973 at which time I, Ernie, and Todd became a family. I started working at the age of 14 doing various jobs and retired in 2009 after working at the Rice County District One Hospital for the previous 29 years. I enjoyed following my grandchildren''s many activities and my time volunteering at the Faribault Area Hospice program and District One Hospital for 22 years.

I am survived by my husband Ernie; son, Dr Todd (Sherri) Kanzenbach, and grandchildren, Ally and Jacob Kanzenbach; Siblings: brothers, Gayle (Clara) Stueve of Bullhead City, AZ, Robert Dudley (Deb) Newcombe of Faribault, MN, Ronald (Debra) Stueve of Riverside, CA, and Michael Newcombe of MN, and sisters, Robin (Michael) Thurmes of Kenyon, MN, Reone Basquez of Fulton, CA, Edna (Rudy) Saldana of Orange, CA, Deanna David, and Linda (Herb) Grems.

I am preceded in death by my father, mother, aunt Florence and uncle Cy Rodewald, aunt Rita and uncle Arnold Hancock, grandparents, and sibling Delores Fesseden.

I wish to thank God for the many blessings he bestowed on me, a loving family and good friends.

Patricia (Pat) Newcombe Kanzenbach, age 70, of Faribault, passed away April 19, 2016, at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, MN, following an extended illness.

Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and on Monday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
