Patricia Jenson March 16, 1945 - March 25, 2011
Patricia A. (Hawkins) Jenson, age 66 of Lake Elysian near Janesville, died on Friday, March 25th at Immanuel-St. Joseph''s Mayo Health System in Mankato. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 2nd from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Arnoldt- McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Waseca. Patricia Ann was born on March 16, 1945 in Waseca, Minnesota to Arthur and Beatrice Hawkins. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waseca, and went on to earn her L.P.N degree in Rochester. Patricia was united in marriage to John W. Jenson at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. They resided Rochester for a few years where Patricia was employed with St. Mary's Hospital as an LPN. After leaving Rochester they lived in various places around the country, following John's career. They returned to Minnesota in 1975, and settled in Waseca where Patricia served as plant nurse for Birds Eye Foods. In 1985 they moved to their home on Lake Elysian near Janesville. Patricia enjoyed flowers, gardening, and time spent at their home on the lake. She is survived by her husband John; by her daughter Karen Jenson of Pocahontas, IA; by her two grandchildren Ethan and Kira Jo Bowder of Pocahontas, IA; by her aunt Vivodale Hawkins of Waseca and her sister-in-law Jane Hawkins of Minneapolis; by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; by two brothers Jim Hawkins and Bob Hawkins, and her sister Carol (Jerry) Stevens.
