Patricia A. Vaughan March 26, 1941 - August 23, 2014

Patricia A. Vaughan, age 73, of Faribault, MN, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014, at St. Mary''s Hospital in Rochester, MN, following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Members of the Eastern Star #90 will conduct a service at 10:00 a.m.

Patricia Anne was born on March 26, 1941 in Welch, West Virginia to John and Mary (Stamper) Adams. She was raised in a military family that traveled to many different destinations. In 1958, she was married to Jerome Castle, they had two children and were later divorced. Pat worked in the accounts payable department for SuperValu for many years until her retirement. She married Martin "Jack" Vaughan on June 23, 1978 in South Dakota. Pat and Jack together enjoyed bowling, volunteer work, and gardening. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2014. Pat''s hobbies include many different arts and crafts, especially ceramics. She was a longtime member of the Eastern Star #90 of Shakopee.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Castle of Grand Rapids, MN, and Linda Castle of Faribault; 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; four step-children, Joseph (Laura) Vaughan of Rosemount, MN, Elizabeth Vaughan of Savage, MN, Lynn (Scott) Lombardi of Prior Lake, MN, and Teresa (Patrick) McCoy of Chicago; step-daughter-in-law, Janet Vaughan of Prior Lake, MN; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents; former husband, Jerome Castle; twin brother in infancy; and step-son, Michael Vaughan.
