Pamela Dianne Vaughan

PAMELA DIANNE VAUGHAN, age 61 of Waseca, died at her home on Monday, August 15, 2022.

Born in Waseca on May 12, 1961, Pam was the daughter of James and Dianne (Bauman) Bartelt. She attended school in Waseca and graduated with the class of 1979. She later went on to attend cosmetology school in Minneapolis. Pam was married to Lyle Vaughan on August 11, 1995 in Waseca. Over the years she worked at the RP Hair Center, at Deb & Company, and most recently at Wiste’s Meat Market in Janesville. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and was a member of the Waseca American Legion Auxiliary where she enjoyed marching with the parade squad.

Pam is survived by her husband, Lyle of Waseca; three sons, Drew (Stephanie) Bartelt of Owatonna, Kyser (Emily) Bartelt of Austin, and Zanik Bartelt and his fiancé Kayla of Spartansburg, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Willow, Chayce, Sawyer, Knox, Freya, Lincoln, and Kolt; and siblings, Dennis (Carol) Bartelt, Doug (Julie) Bartelt, Cindy Bartelt, Becky (Matt Harguth) Sommers, and Lisa (James) Hayes. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Third Street Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Service in Waseca. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
