Norma L. Marzinske

Norma Marzinske, age 80, died peacefully on Tuesday morning, August 1, 2017, at her home in rural Janesville following a short battle with cancer.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2017, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alma City with Pastor Keith Bilitz officiating. Interment will be in the Alma City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at the Church and will continue there for one hour before the service on Friday.

Norma Lorraine was born on May 8th 1937, to Victor and Elsie (Boetteher) Flitter in Waseca. She was baptized on May 23rd, 1937 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Iosco Township. She was confirmed in her faith at Redeemer Lutheran Church on June 17, 1951, in Lisbon, ND.
On November 29th 1953, she was married to Louis Marzinske, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lisbon, ND. They were blessed with three children. She then moved back to Minnesota, where she farmed alongside her husband in the Janesville area throughout her life.
Norma is survived by her husband of 63 years, Louis; her three children: Thomas Joel (Brenda) of Janesville, William (Donna) of Port Washington, WI and Susan Marzinske of Janesville: two adopted children, Florance of Duluth and Lorance; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers: Vern (Irma) Flitter and David (Cindy) Flitter; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
