Nancy S. Aldrich, age 75, of Faribault, MN, passed away January 4, 2016, at the Northfield Hospital with her family at her side.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at the Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church in Faribault. Interment will be at the Eagle Lake Cemetery in Eagle Lake, MN at a later date.

Memorial visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Nancy Susan was born on September 30, 1940 in Rochester to Arthur and Edith (Russell) Klee. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1958 and from Mankato State University with a degree in Library Science. Following college, Nancy worked as an Airline hostess with TWA, was head librarian at Swedish Hospital, was a teacher and owned Aldrich Enterprises. She was united in marriage to Tod Aldrich on November 5, 1966 at 4th Avenue United Methodist Church. They owned and operated TWA Tree Service and Toad's Liquor store in Faribault. They also donated 35 acres to the River Bend Nature Center in 2000. In 1978 their entrepreneurial spirit took them to Westcliffe Colorado where they owned and operated their real estate and land development company for over 30 years. During that time the purchased, operated and sold various businesses.

Nancy loved life and truly lived it to the fullest. She was an incredibly thoughtful woman who took a genuine interest in everyone she met and made them feel special. Nancy's generosity, kindness and friendship was felt by everyone around her. She was a brilliant woman who exuded class and sophistication but yet was fun and down to earth. Nancy was creative and artistic and had a great sense of adventure. Her courage and strength was an inspiration to all. She was clever and witty with a great sense of humor, having the ability to always make others laugh. She loved business, to travel, bridge and had a constant thirst for knowledge.

She is loved and will be missed by her three daughters, Susan Aldrich of Ft Collins, CO, Jennifer Warner of Faribault and Molly Aldrich of Ft Collins, CO; grandchildren, Tod Aldrich and Elizabeth Aldrich; and by many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tod on October 6, 2001; and her parents.
