Nancy Carol Weckwerth

NANCY CAROL WECKWERTH, age 85 of Janesville, passed away on the morning of Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Whispering Creek in Janesville.

Born in Waseca on April 29, 1937, Nancy was the daughter of Ernest and Bertha (Kerwatt) Kelm. She attended Big Fork High School. On September 22, 1956, Nancy was married to Stanley Weckwerth in Waseca. She worked at Herter’s in Waseca for many years, and also worked as a cook at several group homes in the area. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault.

Nancy is survived by two children, Julie (Clinton King) Weckwerth-King of Janesville and Robert (Marcy) Weckwerth of Grogan; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband; two children, Jason Weckwerth and Susan Weckwerth; one grandson, Jared Weckwerth; a brother, Vernon Kelm; and a sister, Florence Morsching.

A private family interment service will take place at Meadow Ridge in Faribault.
