Myla Rosaline Inberg

MYLA ROSALINE INBERG, age 79 of Waseca, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the New Richland Care Center.

Born in Beresford, South Dakota on June 2, 1941, Myla was the daughter of Engnor and Beulah (Landon) Edblom. She attended school in Beresford before her marriage to Lindy Inberg in 1957. She and Lindy raised their family together for many years before their divorce. Myla was later married to James Farrel for a time before their divorce. Over the years Myla worked at Herter’s, E.F. Johnson Company, at Helen’s Café, and at the Busy Bee Café, all in Waseca. She also cleaned homes throughout the community for several years. Myla was a past member of the Waseca VFW Auxiliary and St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed shopping, tinkering with things, and giving unique gifts to those she loved. Before health issues made mobility difficult she enjoyed attending events for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she loved caring for her beloved dog, Victor.

Myla is survived by two children, Brian (Joyce) Inberg of Cedar Park, TX, and Linda Mihm of Waseca; five grandchildren, Miranda (Joel) Fiebiger of Waseca, Jessica (Thomas) Guggisberg of New Richland, Chase Proechel of Waterville, Nicole Cummins of Dodge Center, and Michelle Briones of Cedar Park, TX; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; both previous husbands; three sons as children: twins Randy and Andy and their brother Lee; one daughter, Nova Proechel; two brothers and a sister as children; and one son-in-law, Thomas Mihm.

A visitation will be held from 4-6PM on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the third street chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca. Private family interment will take place in Beresford, SD.
