MARY MAE PAGE, age 93, of Janesville, died peacefully at her daughters home in Clara City on Wednesday March 26, 2025.
Born on February 14, 1932, at home in St. Clair, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Lydia (Hagemeister) Juliar. Mary grew up helping on the family farm in rural St. Clair. She attended St. Clair High School with the class of 1950. On June 27, 1953, Mary was united in marriage to Francis Page at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair. Mary and Francis made their home in Smiths Mill where they raised 8 children. Together they shared 43 years of marriage before Francis passed away on October 16, 1996. Most of her time as a wife and mother was dedicated to caring for her family. She did help her husband as a bookkeeper for the family business “Page Trucking” and “Page Truck Repair”. Mary worked outside of the home for 10 years at Birdseye to earn additional income. Mary loved baking, gardening and she adored her grandchildren. She was a member St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville.
Mary is survived by her children: Daniel (Jean) Page of Smiths Mill, Douglas Page of Elysian, Marilyn (Wayne) Rhode of Clara City, Duane (Lori) Page of Janesville, David (Teresa) Page of Janesville, Carla (Darrel) Coopman of Monticello, Darrell (Erin) Page of Zimmerman, and Donna (Jim) Flintrop of Waseca; 21 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law: Viola Page of Spokane, WA and Charolotte Jongbloedt of Mankato; brother-in-law, Arden (Pat) Page of Hastings; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Thomas Rhode; siblings: Merele (Vivian) Juliar, Lila (Albert) Jongbloedt, Albert (Beverly) Juliar; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair with Fr. Robert Schneider as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in St. Clair. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
