Mary Sue Ambroz

MARY SUE (SUMMER) AMBROZ, age 71 of Waseca, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Foxdale Assisted Living Facility in Waseca.

Born on January 23, 1953, in Waseca. She was the daughter of Lowell Summer and Donna (Born) Lowery. She graduated from Waseca High School. Mary was united in marriage to Larry Ambroz on September 3, 1988, at the First Congregational Church in Waseca. Mary was a very kind, caring, beautiful soul, who enjoyed dancing, watching TV, her dogs Toby and Ruby, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. 

Mary is survived by her daughters, Nicole (Shane) Murphy, and Bridget (Troy Grundhoffer) Miller; grandchildren, Dylan (Ashley Hoffman) Murphy, Tyanna (Tristan Benson) Murphy, and Jillian Grundhoffer; one great-granddaughter expected on October 10, 2024; siblings, Robert (Sue) Summer, and Jerry Summer; mother-in-law, Marilyn Ambroz; sister-in-law, Lori Splinter; brother-in-law, Nick Ambroz; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
