Mark R. Dee, age 40 of Faribault, the son of Tom and Joan Dee, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at his parents home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault with the Rev. Kevin Finnegan, pastor officiating. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services. The family prefers that memorials be directed to Bethlehem Academy High School or Divine Mercy Catholic Church in memory of Mark. Mark Robert Dee, the son of Thomas and Joan (Dwyer) Dee, was born on March 29, 1971 in Faribault. He attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1989. Following high school Mark attended Mankato State University and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. Mark worked in the computer industry for several years. He enjoyed reading and learning about new things. He also raised fish and enjoyed his pets. Mark is survived by his parents, Tom and Joan Dee of Faribault; by three siblings, Jeff (Missy) Dee of Mankato, MN, Deb Hendrickson of Owatonna, MN and Kim (Mark) Hedenstrom of Faribault; by nieces and nephews, Chad Dee, Taylor Dee, Michael Dee, Riley Ann Dee, Jessica Hendrickson, Eric Hendrickson, Katie Hedenstrom, Gina Hedenstrom, Amy Hedenstrom and Megan Hedenstrom; by great nephew Asher and great niece Azaree Mae and by aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
