Mark A. Saxton, age 48 of Rochester, MN, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at his home.

Private family services were held.

Mark Allen Saxton was born on March 19, 1965 in Rochester, MN to Gerald and Marjorie (Haugen) Saxton. He attended Kasson-Mantorville High School and graduated in 1983. After High School he moved to Texas and worked for Dell Computers. He moved back to Minnesota in 1989. He lived in Faribault, Owatonna, and Rochester. Mark worked at various businesses as a machinist. The last 17 years doing handyman jobs. He enjoyed working with tools and making bean bag games. His hobbies were waterskiing, boating, bicycling, and playing horseshoe.

He is survived by his parents Jerry and Marge Saxton of Morristown, MN; a sister Paula (Scott) Lampland of Mantorville, MN; three nephews Jason (Lindsay) Saxton, Adam (friend Liz) Saxton, and Trevor Lampland; a niece Nicole Lampland; four great-nephews Cody, Jacob, Griffen, and Barrett Saxton; a girlfriend, Sandy Meyerhofer of Owatonna, MN; other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sister Keri and a brother Larry; paternal grandparents Harry and Mabel Saxton; and maternal grandparents Helmer and Elsie Haugen.
