MARJORIE L. KINKADE, age 104 formerly of Waseca, went home to heaven to have Christmas with Jesus, her husband Don, and other family members on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Arbor Lane Memory Care in Burnsville.
Born on January 28, 1915 in Winnebago County, Iowa, she was the daughter of Harvey and Mary (Wright) Kinder.  She graduated from Kiester High School in 1933 and married Donald Kinkade on July 24, 1935 at the family farm in northern Iowa.  They lived in Kiester until moving to Waseca in 1960.  Marjorie was a housewife and she loved to clean.  She also worked part time at a department store in Waseca.  She was active with the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Waseca and all of the church activities, including womens Bible study and visiting shut ins.  Marjorie and her husband also enjoyed traveling with their motor home during retirement.  She enjoyed all hand work including knitting, crocheting, quilting, and embroidery.  Marjorie moved to Burnsville in 2011.
She is survived by two children, Donna (Wayne) Sagmoen of Burnsville and Dick (Becky) Kinkade of Breckenridge, TX; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and six siblings. Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Kiester.
