Born in St. Paul on September 25, 1926, Marion was the daughter of Frank and Bessie (Yares) Kodada.  She graduated from Monroe High School in St. Paul with the class of 1945.  Marion was married to Stanley W. Rosenau at Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault on June 24, 1951.  Over the years she worked as a receptionist at KFUO Radio in St. Louis, MO and in the automobile licensing department in Springfield, IL after working in the plastics factory in her local hospital.  More than these vocations, though, Marion was a homemaker, caring for her family throughout their young lives.  She was a previous member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville and more recently a member of St. Paul Lutheran in Waseca.  She enjoyed creating birthday bags for friends and acquaintances at Colony Court and writing letters to friends and family.

Marion is survived by her husband Stanley of Waseca; four children, Paul (Tammy) Rosenau of Prior Lake, Cindy (Don) Anderson of Boise, ID, James (Colette) Rosenau of Sturgis, SD, and John (Darla) Rosenau of Kiron, IA; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eileen Thone of Vadnais Heights.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter in infancy, Geraldine Rosenau; one daughter-in-law, Sue Rosenau; and one great granddaughter, Makayla Pike. Marion will be missed by her large circle of extended family and the friends who she loved as her own family including Al and Sherrye Kuchenbecker. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca, with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin and Rev. David Mumme officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the church.  Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
