Marion Pudil June 30, 1938 - September 21, 2011

Marion R. Pudil, age 73, of Faribault, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the District One Hospital in Faribault, following a sudden illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery in Lonsdale, MN. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services. Parish prayers will be recited on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Marion Rose Novotny, the daughter of Anthony and Mary (Trnka) Novotny, was born on June 30, 1938 in Webster Township, Rice County, MN. Marion attended school in Northfield. On May 11, 1963 she was united in marriage to Joseph Pudil in Northfield, MN. After their marriage they lived on a hobby farm near Webster. In 1985 they moved to Faribault. Mr. Pudil preceded her in death on August 24, 2006. Marion worked at different businesses in Faribault including, Jerome Foods for 22 years, Faribault West Mall Cinema 6 and most recently was working in store promotions at area grocery stores. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Faribault. She is survived by her brother, Raymond (Harriet) Novotny of Webster and by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Local niece and nephews include, David Hirdler of Faribault, Mary Jane Wroblewski of Faribault, Frank Hirdler of Waseca, MN, Stanley Hirdler of Waseca and Dale (Jayne) Hirdler of New Prague, MN and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Ida Hirdler and by three brothers, Frank, Tony and John Novotny.
