Margaret E. Drager, age 91 of Janesville, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Mayo Health System-Mankato. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 4th at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin, officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Hills Cemetery, Mankato. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 P.M. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville, and will continue on Monday morning for one hour prior to services at church. Margaret Evelyn was born on August 21, 1920 to Thomas and Hertha (Holtz) Hinna in Freedom Township, Waseca County, Minnesota. She was baptized October 3, 1920 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Freedom Township, Waseca County, and confirmed on June 16, 1935 at Medo Ev. Lutheran Church, Medo Township in rural Mapleton. Margaret attended Waldorf country school. On November 24, 1943 she was united in marriage to Erwin F. Drager at Medo Ev. Lutheran Church. Margaret and Erwin owned and operated the Deluxe Caf in Janesville for 13 years. Over the years she was employed as a cook for the Village Diner, Heritage House and finally the American Legion, all in Janesville. For many years Margaret made the meals for Janesville Rotary Club, and countless celebrations and events in the area. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville and was active with the Trinity Lutheran Seniors. Margaret was a wonderful cook and was known for her famous potato salad. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Mike) Flemming of Smiths Mill; three granddaughters, Heidi Flemming and her fiance Kent Harty of Medford, Julie (Nick) Danberry of Janesville, and Ashley Flemming of Janesville; by her brother Art Frantum of Mobile, AL, and her sister, Ruth Winter of Buffalo Center, IA; by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Erwin on July 22, 1997; two brothers, John Hinna and Melvin Hinna, and her sister Irene Heckes. Margaret''s casketbearers are Janesville Rotary Club Members.
