Marcia A. Mittelstaedt January 6, 1941 - August 18, 2013

Marcia A. Mittelstaedt, age 72, of rural Waseca, died Sunday, August 18, 2013, at the Lake Shore Inn of Waseca, following a recent illness.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin, officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Janesville.

Marcia Ann, the daughter of Myron "Mike" and Evelyn (Pick) Miller, was born on January 6, 1941, in Mankato, Minnesota. After graduating from Waldorf High School, Marcia attended Gustavus Adolphus for one year and later graduated from Mankato Commercial College. On June 21, 1961, Marcia was united in marriage to William "Bill" Mittelstaedt at the Zoar United Church of Christ in Waldorf. Over the years, Marcia worked as a secretary for many local businesses and most recently at Dr. Beschnett & Dr. Harvey''s Chiropractic Office in Waseca until health problems forced her to retire.

Marcia loved playing the piano and organ for many different events. She also loved fishing both locally and on their Canada trips, canning and was known for her wonderful cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Mittelstaedt of rural Waseca; her children, Mark (Lynn) Mittelstaedt of Meriden, MN, Michael (Lori) Mittelstaedt of Janesville, Scott Mittelstaedt of Waseca, and Steve (Shawnda) Mittelstaedt of Virginia, MN; her eleven grandchildren and one great grandson; her sister-in-law, Marsha Anderson of Waseca and by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Miller and by brother-in- law, LaMarr Anderson.
