MaeDean Clara Larson, age 94 of Waseca, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato. 
Born May 28, 1922 in Waseca County, MaeDean was the daughter of Frank and Rosa (Fritsche) Klinger.  She attended rural Waseca County school before marrying Johnny Larson in 1945.  They were later divorced.  She worked for Pastor Soldner for five years before working for Pastor Komplien at Grace Lutheran.  She also worked at Lake Shore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca for a time.  She enjoyed baking, reading, writing, and visiting.  She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca. 
MaeDean is survived by one daughter, Carol Anderson of Mankato; four grandchildren-Bill, Steve, Tom and Rick, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers, one sister and one granddaughter-Michelle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca, with Rev. David Baumgarn officiating.  Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.  MaeDean has chosen to donate her body to the Mayo Clinic Anatomical Bequest Program.
