Madonna Lewis September 10, 1954 - June 28, 2012

Madonna M. Lewis, age 57, of Rochester and formerly of Faribault, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Hiawatha Homes in Rochester, following a lengthy battle with cancer. A Celebration of Madonna''s Life will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Faribault. Madonna M. Speiker, the daughter of John and Donna (Havener) Speiker, was born on September 10, 1954 in Faribault. She attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1972. Following high school, Madonna worked at the Faribault Regional Center and also at MSOCS Homes that are operated by the State of Minnesota. Madonna was united in marriage to Joe Lewis. They had three children together and were later divorced. Madonna is survived by her children, Jacob Lewis and Joshua Lewis; her siblings, James A. Speiker, Gary (Heather) Speiker and Rosemary (Terry) Leider of Faribault and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Jason; her former husband Joe and by her siblings, John "Jack" Speiker, Timothy Speiker and Rebecca Speiker, both in infancy.
