Lorraine M. Langdon, age 92 of Faribault, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault following an extended illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services.

Lorraine Mary, the daughter of Wallace A. and Rachel (Bushey) Zimmerman, was born on June 17, 1922 at their family home in Walcott Township, Rice County, MN. She attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1940. On June 12, 1946 she was united in marriage to Lowell Langdon at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Lowell preceded her in death on April 1, 2000. Lorraine stayed at home to raise their family and later worked as a cook at Consolidated Catholic Schools and was head cook at the Senior Nutrition Program, SEMCAC, at Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church. Lorraine and Lowell were active members of the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles for many years. She was also a member of the Faribault Moose Lodge and the Divine Mercy CCW. Lorraine enjoyed traveling and took pride in her garden and enjoyed canning the pickles and tomato''s that she would grow. She was also an important part of the younger years of her grandson who she was very close to.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Purdue of Washington, Diane (Marvin) Langdon Larsen of Northfield, MN and Peggy Langdon of Faribault; by her grandson, Lestat Langdon; by her sister Rita (Arthur) Benjamin of St. Paul, MN, by her daughter-in- law, Janice Ulrich of Faribault and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son, Terrance Langdon, by two sisters, Patricia LaCroix and Mary Burk, and by three brothers, Robert, Thomas and

Joseph Zimmerman.
